West Tours – Additional Terms & Conditions:
1. Tours are conducted in English, with simple translations in Mandarin or Cantonese if required.
2. Triple Room – the third person shall be based on a roll-away bed. (Applies to itineraries of Europe & Other Countries)
3. Triple Room is based on two double beds. (Applies to America itineraries, except Hawaii)
4. Triple Room only allows 2 Adults and 1 Child, with a roll-away bed for the child. For 3 adults, two rooms will be required, with one person paying the Single Supplement. (Applies to South Africa itineraries only, except Kenya & Morocco)

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Depart from KLIA

Day 2 : Arrive in Rovaniemi (- / - / Hotel Dinner)

Arktikum Museum Visit Arktikum, a museum, science centre and conference venue right on the Arctic Circle. You will be learning about the history of Finnish Lapland spanning from Rovaniemi to Upper Lapland.

Day 3 : Rovaniemi - 116km - Luosto - 167km - Saariselka (Hotel Breakfast/ Local Lunch/ Hotel Dinner)

Amethyst Mine Board a Pendolino up to the snowy mountain top, where you will get a fabulous view of the national park covered by frozen trees. Follow a guided tour to Europe’s one and only active Amethyst mine. You will get to learn about the history of jewel mining and dig your own amethyst stones (Amethyst panning) during the tour.

Day 4 : Saariselka -70km- Inari (Hotel Breakfast/ Local Lunch/ Hotel Dinner)

Optional Tour 1: Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm EUR150/pax Experience the thrill of riding a snowmobile to the Reindeer Farm (2 persons per snowmobile). Speed along streams of frozen rivers through the snowy forests until you reach a local reindeer farm to experience reindeer sledding (Thermal Outfit will be provided). * Pricing are based on seasonality and subject to change without prior notice. AVC reserve the right to make changes as required. Aurora Borealis Evening Tour In the evening, we will head out into the outskirts and hunt for the phenomenal Northern Lights "Aurora Borealis". (Sighting of this visual spectacle depends on the local solar activities, cloud coverage and general weather conditions. Hence, it can never be guaranteed. However, sighting is not confined to this schedule as the "dancing green lights" may show up randomly during your stay in Lapland.)

Day 5 : Inari -209km- Kirkenes (Hotel Breakfast/ King Crab Lunch/ Hotel Dinner)

Today, we cross the border into Norway. Arctic King Crab Safari ( Norway ) After changing into your thermal outfits, hop on a sledge pulled by snowmobile to the frozen sea floors. Witness your hosts sawing a hole in the ice and pull up a huge bucket of the crabs. Pose with one and head back to the base for a feast of succulent Arctic King Crab !

Day 6 : Kirkenes -209km- Inari -69km- Saariselka (Hotel Breakfast/ Local Lunch/ Hotel Dinner)

Morning, crossing the border back to Finland. Nordic Skiing Experience In the afternoon, put on your ski equipments and be guided by fun instructors with the basic of skiing. Thereafter, enjoy country side skiing while appreciating the beautiful landscapes. (Ski equipments, Shoes & Thermal Outfit Included.)

Day 7 : Saariselka -170km- Rovaniemi (Hotel Breakfast/ Local Lunch/ Hotel Dinner)

Husky Safari Experience the husky sleigh ride (2 persons/sled). As a musher, you will get to control your own team of dogs and experience the excitement with them as they wait eagerly to pull you off at a speedy but safe pace through the breathtaking countryside. Santa Claus Village During winter, this magical village comes to life, projecting an authentic fairy tale winter wonderland. Meet Santa Claus and cross the magical Arctic Circle. Send friends and relatives greetings from the Santa Claus Post Office. All posts will be stamped with a postmark of the Santa Claus Post Office.

Day 8 : Rovaniemi (Hotel Breakfast/ -/ Lappish Dinner)

Free at Leisure Optional Tour 2: Icebreaker Experience (with Buffet Lunch) EUR400/pax (Min.6 to go) Get on board the Icebreaker Cruise at the frozen Bothnian sea of Lapland. Experience the massive ice breaking power of the vessel and join a guided tour that will lead you from the engine room all the way up to the captain’s bridge. The Icebreaker creates a pool free of ice for all adventurers to experience the dark icy water in flotation survival suit. The captain will present Swim Certificates to everyone as a memorable gift.
